Single lens mask without a frame.

Thanks to LiquidSkin® technology, ESSENCE mask is incredibly comfortable and its skirt has an unparalleled ability to resist flattening. Its special shape and lack of a frame make it very light, comfortable, and give it an exceptional field of vision in all directions. The single lens supports the incredibly light Bi-Silicone structure, eliminating the possibility of deformation in the field of vision at depth.
The reduced distance between the lens and the eyes gives a better view and reduces the internal volume. Ample space around the nose makes equalizing easier.

The new types of silicone used help limit the formation of condensation. The LiquidSkin® Essence features new ERGO buckles that make it quick and intuitive to adjust the strap tension.

Wide field of vision:

The Mares Research and Development and Design departments have conducted numerous computer simulations and complex studies on the various shapes of the face. The results are masks that combine incredible comfort with a broad field of vision.

Camouflage:

Camouflage has become a vitally important element for today’s spearfishermen. Mares uses special characteristics to decompose the image, making its camouflage products technically advantageous for spearfishing.

Buckles on the skirt:

Fastening the buckles on the skirt makes the mask more hydrodynamic, because the strap adheres more closely to the head. In addition, the tension exerted by the strap acts on the skirt rather than directly on the frame, reducing the pressure of the frame on the face.
