Returns Policy


If your order arrives damaged

Please contact customer service on (09) 377 0896 within 24 hours of receiving your order, as we need to advise Post Haste immediately.  We will give you clear instructions on what to do, please save the original packaging and damaged goods.
 

Care information

Ocean Hunter is not responsible for misuse or damage by the customer of your product purchased.  In particular trying on our open cell wetsuits, neglectful use or not reading the instructions could result in the item being damaged.  Customers need to follow the instructions sent or please go to our HOW TO SECTION
 

Sale goods

If your product is put on sale after 2 weeks of purchase we will refund the difference with an in-store credit.
 

Electronic returns

Once opened and activated, electronics cannot be returned.
 

Wetsuit returns

We are unable to refund or replace any wetsuit that has been damaged, but you can get it repaired. This includes damage from trying the wetsuit on. Please watch the video below to learn how to put on an open-cell wetsuit. Damage includes poorly packaged goods for return. Please take care if you want a return accepted. Ocean Hunter management reserves the right to not accept any return.

Want a refund or exchange your purchase?

If you are not satisfied with your purchase and want to return or exchange your item(s) for a refund (except custom-made products), please return to OCEAN HUNTER within 30 days of receiving your purchase.

The item(s) must be UNUSED and in a re-saleable condition, as determined by Ocean Hunter Ltd (this does not include items that have been washed). Refunds are issued to the original form of payment within 7 to 14 business days of receiving your return, you will not be refunded for any freight costs incurred.

To return an item(s) please follow these steps:

1.       Contact Ocean Hunter by phone on (09) 377-0896 or email team@oceanhunter.co.nz.

2.       Items should be packaged in a manner that protects the item(s). Please include a brief note with your contact details. We reserve the right to assess any damage incurred during return shipment and to refuse such items if necessary.

3.       Custom-made products are NON-REFUNDABLE and NO EXCHANGES.

4.       If you want to exchange the item(s) because it does not fit or our product has not met your expectations, you will incur the costs of sending and returning the item back to Ocean Hunter.

For any further exchanges, you will incur courier charges. Please ensure you make the right decision with your purchase. If you are unsure please contact us. If the new item(s) is greater in value than your original order, payment can be made by Visa, MasterCard, or Bank Deposit.

Order cancelled by Ocean Hunter

If your order is not accepted by us for any reason, we will arrange for a full refund. We may in our sole and absolute discretion, accept or reject any offer made by you for any reason (or no reason), including an error in the advertised price for, or description of, the products on the website, or an error in your order.
