HUNTING TECHNIQUES

Pink maomao tend to live below depths of 10 metres, especially in areas around islands and headlands swept by currents. They grow to around 55 centimetres.They are excellent eating.

Using the rocky outcrops or pinnacles as camoflage you can wait for the fish to approach or drop onto the schools calmy. It would be better to have a speargun that can shoot further.
