HUNTING TECHNIQUES
Blue moki may be found beside rocky structures; however channels and guts that have good currents are also a good place to start looking. They very often swim in pairs or small schools and are another species that is not easily spooked Approach these fish slowly and they will often present themselves side on for an easy shot. When you see a blue moki there will often be others lurking nearby. If hunting blue moki in the Chatham Islands keep your eyes peeled as it is common to see hapuka schooling with them.
